Temperature & Pressure
Temperature changes may increase or decrease pressure inside the tank.
- Hot weather: Open the vent as needed to release excess pressure and help prevent swelling.
- Cold weather: Open the vent as needed to allow air in and help prevent the tank from collapsing inward.
- Vent slowly in a safe, well-ventilated area away from heat, flames, or sparks.
- Check the vent, cap, adapter, and connections regularly for leaks or damage.
Care
Store in a cool, ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not use the tank if it is damaged, deformed, or leaking.
