1. Limited Warranty & Warranty Claims

1.1 Scope of Coverage & Remedies

SYNETICUSA Products are backed by limited warranties against defects in materials and workmanship as detailed on specific product literature. For any approved warranty claim, SYNETICUSA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

• Supply individual replacement parts
• Repair the defective component
• Issue a prorated credit

Full product unit replacements will only be granted if individual component replacement cannot restore product functionality.

1.2 Warranty Duration & Non-Extension Rule

Warranty coverage begins on the original retail purchase date and lasts for the duration specified for each product line. The repair, replacement, or provision of individual components under this policy does not restart, extend, or renew the original warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser; transferred or secondhand ownership is not covered.

1.3 Distinction Between Warranty Claims and Product Returns

Standard Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) policies govern full product returns, exchanges, and order cancellations within the initial 30-day purchase window, as detailed on our Return Policy page. Any defect, wear, or component performance claims submitted after 30 days from purchase are strictly governed by the component repair and replacement rules under this warranty. Full refunds or complete unit exchanges will not be issued outside the 30-day window.

2. Warranty Coverage by Product

2.1 Tonneau Cover — 5-Year Limited Warranty (MR / AR / ER Retractable PRO-Series)

Warranty covers against defective materials or workmanship on all components of SYNETICUSA tonneau cover products, provided the product is properly installed per SYNETICUSA instructions and with SYNETICUSA approved parts and hardware. Warranty is valid only for SYNETICUSA covers purchased through an authorized dealer. Anyone who purchases through unauthorized sellers should be aware that used, incomplete, or defective products are not covered under warranty.

2.2 Tonneau Cover & Rack System — 3-Year Limited Warranty (MB Retractable/SyneTrac-MR & Rack System)

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship for all components of SYNETICUSA MB Retractable and Rack Systems for three years from the date of purchase, under the same conditions and exclusions as the tonneau cover warranty.

2.3 Accessories / LED — 1-Year Limited Warranty

We offer a 1-year limited warranty on any item(s) confirmed to be defective within 1 year from the initial purchase date. This warranty applies to exchanges only, and no refunds will be covered under this warranty. All cases are authorized at the discretion of our RMA department.

Overall, we recommend professional installation for all of our products.

3. Exclusions & Conditions That Void the Warranty

3.1 General Exclusions

Warranty coverage explicitly excludes damage resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear
• Improper assembly, installation, or failure to follow mounting instructions, including damage from non-professional installation
• Vehicle accidents, off-road collisions, or severe weather conditions
• Unauthorized product modifications or alterations
• Exceeding established load or weight limits
• Cosmetic blemishes that do not impair structural functionality
• Interference of the product with other installed accessories or trailers

Consequential and incidental damages are not covered under this warranty.

3.2 Conditions That Specifically Void the Warranty

• Wind whip damage: Cover must be secured at all appropriate points when the vehicle is in motion; an unsecured cover will flap and may damage the product and the vehicle.
• Improper use of clamps: Clamps must be tightly secured so clamp lips tightly grip the inner bedside metal surface. For folding tonneau covers, rear latches must be stowed in the closed position before folding the cover; failure to do so might puncture the aluminum.
• Driving with the cover open (unsecured): Both safety straps/buckles must be secured when the cover is folded/rolled all the way back to the cab; driving with the cover open at high speed will void the warranty.
• Overloading of cargo: Cargo loaded inside the truck bed must not touch the cover at any point. Our cover is rated to support up to 500 lbs of evenly distributed weight; however, we do not recommend placing objects on the cover, as doing so may cause damage or reduce its lifespan. The load rating is for safety and structural reference only—not for regular use as a support surface.
• Opening the cover without removing debris: The cover surface must be free of all foreign material, such as snow and ice, before opening.
• Improper cleaning: Normal soap and water will suffice to clean the aluminum. Do not use automatic "brush-style" car washes or abrasive chemical cleaners containing silicone; silicone dries out the aluminum, makes the threading brittle, and more prone to breakage.

3.3 Fading & Labor

Please note that our warranty covers fading on tonneau covers for up to three years. SYNETICUSA assumes no liability for labor charges, shop fees, diagnostic costs, removal expenses, or reinstallation fees incurred by the customer or third-party service centers.

4. Obtaining Warranty Service

To file a warranty claim, please contact our customer service department for assistance in obtaining an RMA case number. Defective items will be evaluated under the remedies described in Section 1. Warranty consideration is subject to the conditions and exclusions outlined in Sections 2 and 3.
