I reached out to Synetic about the vibration and they responded quickly with instructions to check the rubber flap that goes between the cover and the cab. It followed those and it worked like a charm. Here was there instructions.

Please see the attached photo, the noise is very likely the rubber flapping against the vehicle’s body
First bend the strip up so that instead of hanging it leans by the vehicle’s body
Next test drive and confirm the issue is resolved with the noise. Once confirmed, trim the strip by 1 inch across

I just purchased the kit with the rack, installed both and the whistleling and rattleling are very loud. Did the fix given to you fix your problem??

Hello Daniel Dooley. did you ever stop the rattling? after several emails to synetic, it seams there in denial. i actually had some one open the back window wile driving and was able to stop the noise by reaching out and holding the metal cover.

I just installed my retractable tonneau cover, looks amazing, fits perfectly. But....when I get up to 70mph it's start rattling, fiercely. Is there a way I can remedy this? Is this common?

i am having the same problem with the rattling. Hello synetic: when I get up to 70mph it's start rattling, fiercely. i had to pullover twice just to make sure the cover was not going to depart the vehicle. Please provide a solution for this issue!

About a year ago, I went to their shop and purchased their off-road tonneau cover, I believe it's called "SyneTrac-PRO" now. It is still working out with no problem besides some dusts on the side rails but that's no big deal when you clean it. They installed for me charged 30 dollars, but compare to other body shops, that is fairly cheap and great service too!
