Rambox Differences

- Deck Rails

Did you know that there are at least 2 types of Rambox trucks out there? What is the difference we care about, you say? Check out their factory style deck rails below.

An example of RAMBOX's black factory deck rail

This is the factory style deck rail when you purchase a Rambox truck that comes with a bed cover. The bed cover on it is usually a soft tri-fold cover, this cover actually requires this kind of deck rails. As you can see below, the design of these rails differs from the design of the original deck rails.

An example of RAMBOX's white factory deck rail

These are the original deck rails on Rambox trucks that are not already using any Mopar folding cover. The Mopar cover requires the black deck rails discussed previously and NOT these white deck rails.

These white ones designate and represent the originality of Rambox trucks with ZERO modification on the deck rails, which is a MUST setup and strict requirement for our Rambox covers to work with as of the time of this entry. Who knows, perhaps there will be a day when our product will combine the dynamics of the two styles into one!

As for the details of the installation, to see how the deck rails are utilized, please refer our installation manual.
